Zelleria oleastrella

Only a handful of records of this southern European species have been recorded in Britain to date.

It was first recorded in 2006 when four were taken in June at light - two on St. Mary's, Isles of Scilly, and singles in Weymouth and East Lulworth, Dorset.

The species has since been encountered in Wiltshire and Gloucestershire, but is still a rare occurrence.

The larvae mine the leaves of Olive, and pupate in a silken cocoon.
