Holly Tortrix Rhopobota naevana

Wingspan 12-16mm.

A common species throughout the British Isles, occupying a wide variety of habitats.

The adults are quite variable, and fly between July and September, frequently coming to light.

The larval foodplants include holly (Ilex aquifolium) and bilberry (Vaccinium myrtillus) among others.
