Plumed Fan-foot Pechipogo plumigeralis

(Hübner, [1825])

Wingspan 22-26 mm.

Formerly a rare migrant, mainly to the south-east coast of England, with the first in 1995, the species has now become established in several south-eastern counties, and is mostly recorded between June and October.

Outside of Britain, it occurs in southern Europe, where it flies in two generations between May and September.

The foodplants abroad are a number of trees and bushes, including broom (Cytisus scoparius) and ivy (Hedera spp.).
