Parachronistis albiceps - Distribution map
Please note that the NBN Gateway map service has been terminated as of 1 April 2017.
As soon as a replacement map service is available, distribution maps will hopefully appear here again.
In the meantime, you can get some idea of distribution from the NBN Atlas website.

Parachronistis albiceps
(Zeller, 1839)
Wingspan c.10 mm.
The larvae of this fairly distinctive species have not been well described, but are known to feed inside the buds of the foodplant, hazel (Corylus avellana) in late spring.
The species is well distributed in the southern half of mainland Britain, reaching northwards to Yorkshire.
The adult moths fly in June and July, and are sometimes attracted to light.
