Mompha lacteella - Distribution map
Please note that the NBN Gateway map service has been terminated as of 1 April 2017.
As soon as a replacement map service is available, distribution maps will hopefully appear here again.
In the meantime, you can get some idea of distribution from the NBN Atlas website.

Mompha lacteella
(Stephens, 1834)
Wingspan 11 mm.
Rather similar in appearance to M. propinquella, but with the white areas slightly buffier, and darker towards the wingtip. A more confident identification can be made by reference to the genitalia.
The larvae feed mainly on broad-leaved willowherb (Epilobium montanum), mining the leaves.
Distributed locally in England and Scotland, the moths are at large between May and July.
