Small Black Arches Meganola strigula

Wingspan 18-24 mm.

A woodland species which occurs locally only in the southern counties of Britain.

Its habitat requirements are mature deciduous woodland, where the larvae are believed to feed on oak (Quercus).

The adults fly in June and July, and can be attracted to light.
