Please note that the NBN Gateway map service has been terminated as of 1 April 2017.
As soon as a replacement map service is available, distribution maps will hopefully appear here again.
In the meantime, you can get some idea of distribution from the NBN Atlas website.

Dotted Fan-foot Macrochilo cribrumalis
(Hübner, 1793)
Wingspan 27-30 mm.
A localised species, occurring in East Anglia and some parts of southern England, inhabiting mostly fens and other watery habitats.
The flight period is from late June to August, when the adults can be found from dusk onwards, flying amongst the reeds.
The larva probably feeds on a range of sedges or grasses, and overwinters in this stage, completing its growth in the spring.
