Lozotaenia forsterana

Wingspan 20-29 mm.

This, one of the largest of the Tortricidae, is to be found throughout most of Britain, occupying mainly suburban habitats such as parks and gardens.

The adults fly at night during June and July, and the larvae feed on a variety of trees and shrubs, showing a preference for ivy (Hedera).
