Wingspan c. 7mm.

A rather rare and local species, confined to a number of coastal counties in southern England and in Wales, occupying cliffs and similar habitats where the foodplant occurs.

The larva feeds on narrow-leaved everlasting pea (Lathyrus sylvestris), forming translucent blotches on the leaves, sometimes more than one to a leaf.

The adults, similar in appearance to a number of other Leucoptera species, fly from May to July, probably in two generations.
