Dichrorampha sedatana

Busck, 1906

Wingspan c. 14mm.

This species resembles Dichrorampha plumbana but is generally slightly larger, and has a yellowish suffusion around the base of the forewing not present in that species.

It is relatively common over much of mainland Britain, and inhabits rough ground, verges and embankments etc where the foodplant grows.

The larvae feed in the roots of tansy (Tanacetum vulgare).
