Delplanqueia inscriptella

Wingspan: 18-26mm

This species has recently been found to occur in the UK and may, in fact, be commoner than D. dilutella. It is very similar in outward appearance to D. dilutella although apparently it is more variable and is described as being browner and tends to lack the white sub-basal fascia.

Dissection is required to confirm identification.
