Feathered Footman Coscinia striata - Distribution map
Please note that the NBN Gateway map service has been terminated as of 1 April 2017.
As soon as a replacement map service is available, distribution maps will hopefully appear here again.
In the meantime, you can get some idea of distribution from the NBN Atlas website.

Feathered Footman Coscinia striata
(Linnaeus, 1758)
Wingspan 30-35 mm.
Although fairly common in Europe, there have only been a handful of records in Britain, all in the 19th century.
A very distinctive species, it inhabits dry, open habitats on the continent, and flies from May to August.
The caterpillars live on a number of herbaceous plants.
