Chrysoclista lathamella

Fletcher, 1936

A rare species in Britain, occurring only in the south and east. The moth is found in woodland areas, where the foodplant, white willow (Salix alba) is present.

The larvae burrow into the bark of the tree, but little is known about their life history.

The adult flies in June and July.
