Argyresthia curvella - Distribution map

Please note that the NBN Gateway map service has been terminated as of 1 April 2017.

As soon as a replacement map service is available, distribution maps will hopefully appear here again.

In the meantime, you can get some idea of distribution from the NBN Atlas website.

(Linnaeus, 1761)

Wingspan 10-12 mm.

This fairly common moth is found in gardens and orchards throughout much of Britain. The larva feeds on the flowers of apple trees (Malus), and can be a pest where it is abundant.

The adult flies at night in June and July and is attracted to light.
