Angled Gem Anomis sabulifera

Wingspan c.32-38 mm.

There is just a single record of this species in Britain, of an adult attracted to sugar in Kent in 1935.

Abroad it ranges from North Africa eastwards to India and Australia, where it can be a pest on the host plants of cotton/jute.
