([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)

Wingspan 18-22 mm.

A variable species, sometimes with a distinctive triangular marking on the upperwing, but often with a greyish ground colour, obscurely marked with specks of darker and lighter.

The flight period is from August through to October.
