Wingspan c.10mm.

The smallest of the British Scrobipalpa species, this species has been found in a handful of locations in Northern Scotland, as well as in the Burren region of Ireland.

The host plant is mountain everlasting (Antennaria dioica), on which the larvae feed in mines on the leaves and flowerheads.

Adults are on the wing from April to June.
