Thyme Pug Eupithecia distinctaria

Wingspan 16-18 mm.

A scarce and local species, inhabiting mainly limestone or chalky districts, and rocky seaside localities. It flies in June and July, and can be attracted to light.

The larvae feed on the flowers of thyme (Thymus spp.).
