Wingspan c. 30mm.

There is just a single record in Britain of this Southern European species, dating back to 1896 when one was reportedly captured near Brighton, West Sussex.

Abroad, the species is said to feed on snapdragons (Antirrhinum) and toadflax (Linaria).
