Double Lobed Lateroligia ophiogramma

Wingspan 32-35 mm.

Inhabiting fens, damp woodland and other marshy places, this moth has a widely scattered distribution over most of England, Wales and southern Scotland. It is local in Ireland.

The adults fly from June to August, and frequent both light and sugar.

The larvae overwinter and feed on reed canary-grass (Phalaris arundinacea) and reed sweet-grass (Glycera maxima).
