1921 Scalloped Oak Crocallis elinguaria

(Linnaeus, 1758)

Wingspan 32-41 mm.

This species shows some variation in the intensity of the markings but is usually easy to identify.

Occupying a range of habitats, the caterpillars show a polyphagous nature, feeding on a number of deciduous trees and bushes.
