Wingspan c. 15mm.

A relatively uncommon and local species, frequenting open wooded habitats and occurring in parts of England, Wales and Scotland.

The larvae feed on rowan (Sorbus aucuparia) and hawthorn (Crataegus), occupying a web on the surface of the leaves.
