Wingspan 10-12 mm.This fairly common moth is found in gardens and orchards throughout much of Britain. The larva feeds on the flowers of apple trees (Malus), and can be a pest where it is abundant.
The adult flies at night in June and July and is attracted to light.
It is another small species, with a wingspan of about 10mm.
