(Fabricius, 1794)

Wingspan 28-35 mm.

An inhabitant of oak (Quercus) woodland, this species occurs locally in the south-east of England.

The adults fly at night in July and August, and can be attracted to light.

The larvae feed on oak leaves, mainly those which have fallen to the ground.
