2408 Small Marbled Eublemma parva

(Hübner, 1808)

Wingspan 14-18 mm.

Another migrant species which occasionally arrives along with the Purple Marbled (E. ostrina)

Like the former species, larvae are sometimes found in immigration years, these feeding on common fleabane (Pulicaria dysenterica) and ploughman's-spikenard (Inula conyzae).

Most migrants have arrived in June and July, and mainly in the south of England.
