1228a Pammene ignorata

Kuznetsov, 1968

Wingspan c. 12mm.

A rare species in Britain, with just a few records. One was in Devon in June 1986 and then two in 2006 in Gloucestershire. A number of records have been noted in Gloucestershire since, by Guy Meredith, generally found during the daytime.

There is little information about the species' habits in Britain, but abroad it is known to feed on Lime (Tilia) and Elm (Ulmus).
