1035 Acleris bergmanniana

Wingspan 10-14 mm.This small but pretty yellow species is quite common over most of Britain, occupying gardens and hedgerows; the larvae feed on the leaves and shoots of rose (Rosa) bushes.
The upperwing is marked with metallic blue-grey striations, edged with rufous, and the two black dots are in fact small raised tufts of black scales.
Flying from late afternoon onwards during June and July, it is also attracted to light.
