UKMoths has been providing a useful moth information and identification service online since 1998.

Since those early days, the website has continued to grow in stature and popularity, and nowadays in peak periods during the summer, it attracts well over 2 million page views a month.

While there are many kind and generous contributors who allow the use of their photos on the site, UKMoths is still run by me on a voluntary basis, and takes up an inordinate amount of my free time.

Especially in the summer months, I'm inundated by emails and requests for information, along with recommendations for improvements and many, many identification requests. I can easily spend 30+ hours a week responding to these emails, which is like having a second full-time job!
