| This monumental work, which has been many
years in the making, provides a detailed account of the microlepidoptera
of Wiltshire (occupying the old Watsonian vice-counties VC7 and VC8).
At 234 pages, the bulk of the book comprises the Systematic List, which details all the known records up until 1999, a total of 959 species. There is a 25-page distribution table, showing records of all species down to 10km-square level, as well as short sections on geology, systematics, conservation and the microlepidopterists of Wiltshire.
